Why do businesses need custom plastic pallets?
There are a range of reasons that businesses like yours may need custom plastic pallets. But, principally, there is the simple need to transport goods safely and successfully to your clients.
A custom plastic pallet will support delicate or unusually-shaped payloads and offer anchor-points to ensure your items remain safe and secure throughout their journey.
After all, when you have used all your expertise and expensive raw materials to produce the best product possible, you can’t afford to ship it out to an expectant client and fall at the last hurdle when your product is damaged in transit by slipping off a sub-optimal wooden pallet, or part of it overhangs the side of a standard pallet and is damaged by a passing forklift.

What materials do you use?
The plastics we use will depend upon the use you will need to put your pallet to.
The majority of our pallets are PP (Polypropylene). However, If your pallets will experience low temperatures, we would probably recommend fabricating them in HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene).
The very nature of supplying custom plastic pallets means we understand that no one single solution will work in all cases – So, with our decades of industry expertise, we can recommend the right materials needed for control, validation and hygiene, depending on the environmental needs of your pallets.
Then, as with our parent company, ALLpaQ, we are committed to the environment and to being a responsible manufacturer. Therefore, if your pallet is broken, we will repair it so that it is as good as new and still ISO compliant. Finally, when your custom plastic pallets reach the end of their work lives, we will take them back and recycle them into other plastic products.
Our Process
Because all of our plastic pallets are bespoke – the design and production process will be done with your involvement, throughout. This is detailed here but, in essence, the process goes like this:
Step 1: Enquiry
Once you’ve contacted us, we begin a process of consultation and data gathering.
Step 2: Design
Once we fully understand what you need, our design team will work up blueprints and, where necessary, 3D models which will be supplied back to you for you to sign off.
Step 3: Prototype
If you’re a new customer or we’re creating a plastic pallet that is radically different from anything you’ve used before, we may produce a prototype for you to test.
Step 4: Production
Once you’ve signed off the design and prototype (where appropriate), we move from the design stage to fabrication.
Step 5: Testing
If you need your pallets testing or validating by external bodies, we’ll arrange that in consultation with you.
Step 6: Supply
We’ll ship your pallets to you, anywhere in the world, whether that be by road, sea, air or … another pallet.
Step 7: After Sales
We see customer relations as a matter of partnership – which is why APE will be there for repairs, ongoing support and, of course, any additional fabrications you need of these pallets, or a whole new design.
